Obligations for commercial companies incorporated in the Dominican Republic

Commercial companies in the Dominican Republic, once incorporated, generate certain annual obligations for its shareholders and / or beneficiaries, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 479-08 of Commercial Companies and Individual Limited Liability Companies modified by Law 31 -11 (hereinafter the Companies Act) and the Dominican Tax Code.

Informaciones generales de la Ley No. 173 sobre Protección a los Agentes Importadores de Mercaderías

En la actualidad, esta ley tiene como finalidad conferir protección a los agentes importadores de mercaderías, productos y servicios, sobre empresas o líneas distribuidas en el territorio nacional. El propósito fundamental de esta ley para los agentes locales es brindarles protección contra la destitución o sustitución irregular o injusta por parte de los concedentes extranjeros. En el caso de los extranjeros, es otorgarles una protección sobre sus condiciones de distribución de bienes y productos en territorio dominicano a través de sus concesionarios.

La Ley No. 171-07 de fecha 17 de julio del 2007 es la base legal que ampara los beneficios especiales que les son otorgados a todas aquellas personas que siendo extranjeras o ciudadanos dominicanos reciban una renta mensual, ya sea por jubilación o pensión, de un gobierno nacional o extranjero, de una empresa pública o privada, nacional o extranjera, siempre que vayan a residir de manera definitiva en el país.
